They kept looking and talking to Adobe and got hooked up with their third-party vendors and found out it was possible to buy a base license for $39 a month. Ultimately the purchased for $6,000 a hosted service for the agriculture college.
"The hosted service means we just lease space on Adobe's service." It costs the campus an annual fee of $7,000. You can purchase a "room" -- 24/7 -- designated space. The campus can sell an unlimited number of "rooms" at $150 a year. There are no bandwidth or storage limits. You can't have more than 50 people in a room at one time.
They started using it in their distance program and have found it great for distance teaching.
