Building a free market for digital information

Newshare Corp. is an alpha-phase user of the Clickshare Access and Payment System. Clickshare registration provides you access to a content universe of independent publishers. One registration allows you access to any of the cooperating publishers with only a single authentication per session.

By registering now, you are joining a group of beta testers of the Clickshare System. The immediate benefits to you, the user, include:

A auto-generated "Personal Newshare" created at each subsequent Newshare login. It contains news and links to the topics and regions YOU SELECT during this registration process.
Single ID and password access to a growing list of Clickshare-enabled beta sites.

Why we reqeust that you register:

We ask that you register so we can provide you with a personalized information service. The answers you give us will be stored ONLY with the "home" Publishing Member you designate, in this case Newshare Corp. It DOES NOT become part of any central database and you have the choice, during registration, of designating that it NOT be used for any marketing purposes.

Remember, you only need to register once to gain access to any Clickshare-enabled publisher.

Information Purchase Option

In third-quarter 1996, Clickshare Corp. intends to begin operating a micro-transaction settlement system so that Newshare and other World Wide Web publishers can offer to sell you information via Clickshare. Before you can buy information in this fashion, you will need to set up a credit relationship with Newshare Corp. or with one of our local or topic-specific publishing members. You may provide your credit-card number now and your card will not be charged until you are notified by mail that the option has become available and you reply that you wish to activate it.
